Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible: only what you choose to send us. This page explains what that is and what we do with it.

Who we are

This website is operated by The Major League Developers ("we", "us"), a software studio based in Kenya. For any privacy question, email majorleaguedevelopers@gmail.com or call +254 702 440 401.

What we collect

We only collect personal information you give us:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, organisation (optional), the service you're interested in, and your message.
  • Email, phone or WhatsApp: whatever you choose to share when you contact us directly.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies on this website.

How we use it

We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, discuss and quote for your project, and deliver work you engage us for. We don't sell it, rent it or use it for unrelated marketing.

Service providers

A few trusted providers process data on our behalf so this website can work:

  • EmailJS delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
  • Google (Gmail) hosts our email.
  • Render and Cloudflare host and deliver this website. Like any web server, they may briefly log technical data such as IP addresses to keep the service secure and running.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) handles messages if you choose to contact us there.

These providers may store data outside Kenya. We rely on their published safeguards for such transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for as long as our working relationship and legal record-keeping obligations require.

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and similar laws such as the GDPR where they apply, you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (Kenya) or your local data-protection authority.

Browser storage

If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key mld-theme. It never leaves your device. See our cookie policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
